This 80,000 square foot, five-building elementary school project required a comprehensive BIM model to support underground electrical installation and subsequent systems coordination.
Kelar Pacific Role:
Kelar Pacific was initially contracted to deliver an LOD 300 Revit model focused on major underground electrical infrastructure. The project was phased by building—starting at Building A and progressing through Buildings B, D, C, and E. Following the modeling phase, we were retained to provide BIM Coordination services for the full project lifecycle, including lighting and telecom system layout. Additionally, we used Autodesk Point Layout to generate accurate field points, enabling the client’s surveyor to expedite layout activities. This digital workflow significantly reduced installation hours and increased field efficiency compared to traditional methods.
