- Project Profile The Project is developed on a 40,135-square-foot lot. The structure is a 12_story, post-tensioned, concrete hotel building with a pool deck and three levels of subterranean parking in a total of 361,147- square-foot.
- Kelar Pacific Role Prepare complete light gauge framing model/ drawings based architectural/structural construction drawings (CD) for interior walls, soffit and ceilings for specific areas and levels. Provide complete models for electrical equipment, conduits and lighting. Coordinate with all disciplines through GC, Davis REED Construction, and mechanical contractor, Brian Cox Mechanical. Lead the 3D coordination and modify model documents based on the clash reports and specific requirement by each disciplines (MEP). Kelar Pacific Role: Manage BIM models for The Gaslamp Hotel for coordination and deliverables to subs for coordination, shop drawings and as-built. Prepare all Navisworks coordination files based on 3D model files. Kelar Pacific created clash and status reports of the coordination process and deliver to the team. Provide Navisworks files and clash reports before each coordination meeting and provide penetration model and drawing based on the provided specifications, drawings, and models by MEP and structural contractors / consultants. Kelar Pacific Role: Prepare BIM models for interior walls, soffits, ceilings, and framing. Models specify the no-fly zones areas and penetrations for coordination with other disciplines. Create shop drawings based on openings and the coordinated BIM framing model. Prepare shop drawings for openings based on walls, soffit and ceiling framing. All models are provided in Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks.
