- Project Profile The Health Care Facility Improvement Project is $15 Million for CIM and $12 Million for CIW. The project proponent, California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR), is renovating and making additions to the existing health care facilities, the construction of small new facilities, and associated infrastructure improvements, all within the developed area of CIM. Specifically, the project includes construction of three new primary care clinics and a new health care administration building, totaling approximately 18,000-square-foot of new building space. The project also includes approximately 20,000-square-foot of interior renovations and approximately 8,000-square-foot of additions for medication distribution rooms, pharmacy, central health services, and other necessary health care improvements.
- Kelar Pacific Role Created BIM Execution Plan for GC and subcontractors, led BIM Coordination meetings using BIM 360 Glue and Navisworks, provided clash reports and action items to subcontractors, did 3D LiDAR Scanning and adjusted BIM Model from point clouds to become as-built BIM, attached all submittal and cut sheet information to BIM elements, delivered LOD-500 as-built BIM for FM requirement by owner.
