Bluebeam® Revu® 21
Transition to Subscription
Steps to create your Bluebeam subscription account
Gather the following information to begin the process:
- Revu 20 Serial Number(s)
- Name and email of each team member for seat assignment
Go to the Bluebeam estore and click the link – “Log in here with your BBID.”
You will create your BBID in the next step.
Suggestion: If you have been using Enterprise licensing to manage your team’s access, you may want to create an admin-type email account, such as bluebeam@yourcompany.com.

If you have a BBID, select the “Sign In” tab to proceed.
Otherwise, click on “Create Account” and complete the fields.
Note: To ensure you can log in and access your existing licenses, make sure your email address matches the one you used to purchase in the past, or the email listed on your license certificate. Not sure? Send a request to Bluebeam@kelarpacific.com with your company name.

Steps to upgrade your Bluebeam perpetual license(s) to subscription
Once you’ve logged in, check the Perpetual Licenses tab to identify your licenses eligible for a free upgrade to Complete. Check all pages to locate your existing licenses.
Click the “Upgrade For Free” button to upgrade eligible licenses to Complete. Click “Add to Cart” in the popup message that appears, then click “View Cart” and check out. Note that the upgrade is free and will be listed as zero dollars.
Once your order is processed, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your subscription information, including links to download Revu 21 and access Bluebeam Cloud.
As the subscription Admin, you are now ready to create user accounts and invite each team member to create their own BBID. Follow the steps found in the Bluebeam Subscription Management Guide. Note: Look for the option to add users in bulk using a downloadable template file.

Steps to Install and Log-in to your Revu 21 subscription
Download and install Revu 21.
Upon opening Revu the “Sign-in” window will appear. Enter your BBID login for full access to Revu.
Now you can be logged in to multiple devices (e.g., office and home).

Once signed in, click your email address in the top right corner of Revu to confirm the Package is set to Complete. All the functions available are aligned with the subscription type assigned.

If you find your Markup tools are grayed out, click the “Sign In” link on the top right corner of Revu.

Markup tools can also appear grayed out if the subscription invitation is not accepted. In this case the “Package:” will indicate “Unassigned.” Request the Bluebeam subscription admin resend the invitation in the Subscription Management portal.
