This class is for beginner entry level CAD users or those who need to refresh their basic AutoCAD Skill set. We will cover all of the basics that are required to put a set of drawings together, including annotations, simple symbol creation and plotting. Prerequisites required for this course include experience using the Windows® 98, ME, NT, 2000, or XP PRO operating system. Topics Covered:

Understanding the AutoCAD workspace and user interface
Using basic drawing, editing, and viewing tools
Using Layers
Inserting reusable symbols (blocks)
Adding text, hatching, and dimensions
Preparing a Layout for plotting
