Inside Sales Representative 

The ideal candidate should be courteous, dependable, and enthusiastic with a desire to learn and grow professionally


General Responsibilities:

• Identify and close new account business
• Manage, maintain and increase sales within existing accounts
• Provide excellent customer service and support
• Increase “specialized-vertical” CAD software sales
• Increase consulting and product training revenues


Desired Skills and Experience:

• Strong computer, presentation and communication skills
• Software knowledge required: Microsoft Office
• Should know CRM system equal to Salesforce or ACT (will provide training)
• Excellent customer relationship management skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to learn and grow with new products and technology

MEP Application Engineer

We are looking for an MEP Applications Engineer with a degree in Mechanical or Engineering. This is not a manufacturing position, rather an Electrical, HVAC or Mechanical background is required.

General Responsibilities:

• Assist with development and implementation of detailing department standards and ensure consistency across the department.
• Provide classroom training to customers on the latest Autodesk MEP software. Will provide some training/lesson plans.
• Develop customized content for automation of system layout which results in integrated content, material quantities and shop drawings.
• Assist with development of a BIM Execution plans which align with industry BIM standards.
• Analyze project BIM requirements and identify early strategies for successful BIM/detailing implementation.
• Attend industry meetings and conferences to promote Kelar Pacific’s BIM capabilities and expertise within the industry.
• Identify training strategies for growth and improvement.
• Identify BIM “lessons learned” and facilitate communication and education within the department.
• Track BIM implementation on projects in Salesforce
• Research and keep abreast of new technology, practices, and tools in regards to BIM/3D and the latest for MEP
• Perform additional duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Desired Skills and Experience:

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s/Masters’s Degree in Mechanical or Engineering with a solid knowledge of Autodesk production software (AutoCAD MEP, Revit, and NavisWorks are minimum requirements); Combined with the following:
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Desire and talent for training and developing others.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations in a professional manner.


Regional Sales Representative - Los Angeles

You must be located in the Los Angeles area to be considered for this position.

General Responsibilities:

• Achieve sales objectives for generating new sales, expanding existing customer sale and consulting services offered by Kelar Pacific in a timely, accurate manner

• Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific solutions and services

• Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, add-on services and promotional sale items

• Generate customer proposals and quotations in accordance with Kelar Pacific profitability guidelines

• Accurately process customer transactions such as orders, quotes or returns

• Obtain accurate information from vendors related to the Kelar Pacific customer solutions and services

• Responsible for timely, accurate forecasts of weekly, quarterly and pipeline opportunties


Desired Skills and Experience:

• 2-5 years of experience working in sales and/or customer service

• BA/BS or equivalent

• 2-5 years proven sales results; familiarity with TAS or equivalent sales tools 

• Strong computer, presentation and communication skills

• Software knowledge required: Microsoft Office

• Should know CRM system equal to Salesforce or ACT (will provide training)

• Excellent customer relationship management skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Ability to learn and grow with new products and technology
