This course is a two class covering all of the modules for Navisworks Manage and Simulate.
The Autodesk® Navisworks® Essentials course instructs students in real-world approaches to the software that combine 3D geometry from cross disciplines into one scene to enable effective model collaboration. This hands-on, instructor led class, will help students acquire the knowledge required to create, aggregate and markup the model. In this class we will introduce the students to TimeLiner, Animator, Scripter, and Presenter, as well as the Clash Detective tools within Autodesk Navisworks Manage. Using Autodesk® Navisworks®, Simulate and Manage, students learn how to open, review, and run interference checks on 3D models with the Clash Detective. Students also learn how to link to task-scheduling files and create 4D construction simulations. Using the Animator and Scripter tools, students create interactive animations. In addition, students learn how the Presenter tools can help them create photorealistic images and animations.
This course is designed for an MEP engineering professional who has needs to get up to speed quickly with the BIM solution provided by the Revit family of Products. In this 3 day class we will cover Revit Core Essentials on Day 1, including the setup process for linking consultants backgrounds and generating a layout that is required by the MEP team.

This class has been designed to teach the concepts and principles from building design through construction documentation using the Autodesk Revit Structure software. We will introduce the students to the software's basic building components that make the Autodesk Revit Structure software a powerful and flexible structural modeling tool. Our goal is to familiarize you with the tools necessary to create, document, and print your parametric model. Examples and practices are designed to reflect as many different building types as possible. Topics include the following:
Autodesk is phasing out perpetual software licenses.
Beginning February 1, 2016, individual product licenses will be available only as a subscription. If you prefer perpetual licenses, you will want to make your purchase before January 31, 2016 and attach the Maintenance Subscription to continue to receive updates.
The same thing will happen to Suite products on July 31, 2016.
We will review the Autodesk changes and how to plan for subscription licensing for the first 15 minutes. Then we will address your questions and comments.
This is a FREE event.
Three-Day Training Class Information(This class is held on consecutive Mondays)
This course is designed for new users who are not familiar, or have very basic knowledge of Primavera P6 Professional. Students will gain proficiency in structuring and creating a P6 schedule, create cost loaded schedules, create baselines, update the schedule and monthly costs, review cost projection curves and reports, activity coding and print schedule reports.
Not included in this course: Resources management. See the Advanced course for more information.

This course offers an in-depth introduction into the software and shows how quickly projects can be produced in Civil 3D. We will design a project starting from Survey data working through the design to full plan creation. Whether you are looking to move from AutoCAD to Civil 3D or just need to have a better understanding of the Civil software solutions, this class will provide that atmosphere. We will provide a hands-on, instructor led course of these major sections:
Three-Day Training Class Information
The objective of this course is to enable students to create a basic 2D drawing in AutoCAD. All topics, including features and commands, relate to both AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT unless specifically noted otherwise in the class.
The strategy is to start with a few basic tools that enable the student to create and edit a simple drawing, and then continue to develop those tools. More advanced tools are also introduced throughout the class as we progress.

Revit Architecture is a powerful Building Information Modeling (BIM) program that works the way Architects think. From Preliminary Design through Design Development, and into Construction Documents, the program streamlines the design process with a central 3D model. Changes made in one view update across all views and on the printable sheets. This course is designed to teach you the Revit functionality as you would work with it in the design process. You begin by learning about the user interface and the Revit commands for design development followed by those available for construction documentation. Since building projects themselves tend to be extremely complex, Revit Architecture is a necessarily complex program. The objective of this course is to enable students to create full 3D architectural project models and set them up in working drawings. This course focuses on basic tools that the majority of users need to work with Revit Architecture. The topics include the following:
As with any project delivery method, there are inefficiencies. Inefficiencies that can cause rework, waste, and drops in productivity and profits. But there is something that will improve the Return on Investment (ROI) of your P3 Projects: an intentional and integrated approach to Building Information Modeling (BIM).
Join Caesar Ruest, Autodesk Subject Matter Expert for Construction and Ken Stowe, P.E., Worldwide Construction Business Development Executive at Autodesk, as they review the P3 project delivery method and the key lifecycle performance benefits that BIM can bring to your project. Then hear directly from Tanner Clark Director, BIM / VDC Construction Services at Stuart Olson Inc. as he shares his firsthand experiences and realized benefits gained from using BIM on some of his past and recent P3 projects.
Presentations will be followed by a live Q&A
Join us to better understand the business impact of a data management tool like Autodesk Vault. In this initial sessions we will cover the seven high level areas where Autodesk Vault can have the greatest impact on your business. In addition, we will be joined by an existing Vault customer and learn how they benefit from Vault.
Additional sessions follow:
- 12:30pm-1:30pm -- Improve Engineering Productivity
- 2:00pm-3:00pm -- Connected Data Management
- 3:30pm-5:00pm -- Q&A Roundtables
Are you still using Land Desktop every day or are you working in a previous release of AutoCAD Civil 3D thinking “there is no need to move to the current release”? Maybe you are contemplating making the move to AutoCAD Civil 3D? In this webcast series, we will travel through time and show you the ease of bringing that Land Desktop data forward and how to use it once in AutoCAD Civil 3D. We’ll have a conversation about styles - what and how many you actually need to get that company template rolling. We will progress through the releases from 2010 to 2016 and show you all the great reasons to move forward to AutoCAD Civil 3D 2016 and not look back.
What are you waiting for? Discover how you can save time and increase efficiency using the tools and features in the latest AutoCAD Civil 3D release.
